Today's task: Have a back up meal in case your meal plan falls through.
Why: Sometimes, we plan a home cooked meal and it goes wrong. Or we planned on chicken only to find it's expired. Be prepared and plan to be flexible. Always have something on hand that can replace a meal gone wrong: frozen lasagna, chicken nuggets, pasta, etc. This way, if you fail, you won't give up completely because you still have something to eat. You can also have a sit-down restaurant option as a back up (read tomorrow's post on how to eat healthy when you eat out).
To make this a permanent solution: Always have a flexible plan. Keep easy-to-prepare food on back up, but don't let meal failures get you down.
