Today's task: Vary your foods.
Why: While routine can make eating healthy easier, it can also make it boring. Our bodies like to get nutrients from various sources for good balance. It also opens the door to new recipes, creativity, & learning about new foods.
To make this a permanent solution: For fruits and vegetables, try to eat within the seasons. (You'll also save money this way...what's in season is usually more affordable!) Cook a different meat for dinner every day, throwing some seafood in as well. Sub brown rice for white, buy a different type of bread for this week's sandwiches, or even cook the same old meal with a new spice!
