Today's task: Go to bed at a time that gives you 8 hours of sleep. To be safe, you should try to go to bed more than 8 hours from when your alarm will go off to give your body time to fall asleep.
To make this a permanent solution: Get into a routine of going to bed at the same time every night.
Why: Sleep is the most important (and most overlooked) component of health. Without enough sleep, we can't properly metabolize food and therefore, we gain weight. Also, when our bodies are compensating all day for lack of sleep, every other aspect of our life suffers. Sleep is when our bodies repair, regenerate, and reset. Without it, we crash - either in small ways daily or big ways down the road.
