Today's task: Find an accountability partner. They don't have to do these daily tasks with you, although that would make it more fun, but find someone who you don't want to let down or who will motiviate you to complete your task each and every day and praise you for it.
To make this a permanent solution: Make a mutual agreement that EVERY DAY, you have to let them know in some form (text, picture, phone call, etc.) that you completed your daily task. Don't pick someone that will go easy on you, find a drill sergeant!
Why: Most of the time, we don't value ourselves enough to hold ourselves accountable. We spend the first 18 years of our lives, give or take, trying to live up to expectations our parents set for us. Then, we go off to a job where we have to meet our boss' expectations. We are conditioned to complete tasks others give us, but not what we give ourselves. Using another person to keep us accountable is a great way to avoid letting this just slip by, which often happens when we go it alone.
